Crazy for old cars I'd never want to own.
Used to have a '95 Buick LeSabre with lots of sentimental value. It would stall and shutdown while I was driving. This happened on expressways as much as city streets. The engine would die, the steering wheel locking up, all while driving 55mph in some seriously aggressive NYC traffic.
But hey. Floating around in an old boat was still more comfortable than my ultra-reliable Honda, in which I feel every pebble my tires roll over on the road.
Flying high on my recent camera repair, I now have the confidence to replace the a/c compressor in my car.
