Got off to a good start with a run around the canal. Then emails and setting up meetings for the week. With MK in Philly all next week; got to lay the groundwork for my own shoots when I can.
Trip down the avenue with SL at sunset to a little known rooftop bar along the canal. We ordered a glass of wine each; the server gave us "tastings" of everything they had, over-pours that had me wiggling in the knees by the time I made a decision. Sat in a chair and visualized the future with SL. How the hell are we going to afford to stay in this city and continue to do what we love?
Later at home, watched Margot Benaceraff's Araya. Incredible black and white cinematography. Salt used to be worth as much or more than gold, and salt workers were paid in salt, which led to the word "salary".
Besides this, loved the line: "The fisherman's wife's heart knows no weakness; her arms know no rest."
